# Ascend NFTs

The Ascend NFT collection is planned as a 500 supply **free mint** with tiered benefits tied to participation in the staking system.

Its primary economic benefit is an increased weighting within the direct HYPE reward pool.

## Reward weighting

Ascend allocates **10% of the HYPE purchased through the protocol allocation** to the HYPE reward pool. The size of the reward pool varies with protocol revenue and HYPE purchase prices.

An eligible NFT increases the reward weight applied to its holder’s staked HYPE, giving that position a larger share of the existing pool. NFTs change how the pool is distributed without increasing its total size.

{% hint style="info" %}
The boost requires an eligible HYPE staking position and applies only to HYPE rewards. Ecosystem-token distributions are funded only by users’ kHYPE staking yield, remain proportional to HYPE staked, and are unaffected by NFT ownership.
{% endhint %}

Because the pool is fixed for each distribution, a higher allocation to boosted positions reduces the relative share available to other positions, all else equal.

## Tiers and transferability

Mint tiers are determined by staking rankings at the time of reveal. Higher tiers receive stronger HYPE reward weighting, with distinctive one-of-one editions carrying the highest boost.

NFTs are transferable, and the boost transfers with the NFT. Boosts cannot be stacked. If a wallet holds multiple Ascend NFTs, only the highest-tier NFT determines its boost.

## Mint access

Mint access is planned for HYPE and KNTQ holders, early Ascend supporters, Hypurr holders, Hyperliquid communities, partners, builders, and selected public whitelist participants.

Unused allocations are intended to be directed toward leading Ascend staking participants.

Allocation amounts, eligibility thresholds, tier quantities, and exact boost rates remain undisclosed while the mint is finalized.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ascendlaunch.gitbook.io/docs/ascend-nfts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
